Job Description

• To remain always alert, focused, polite, assertive, courteous and customer-friendly.
• Greet the employees & visitors.
• Be punctual at the set working hours (8-12 hours) unless otherwise required to meet site-specific requirements.
• Exercise due diligence in compliance with site security & safety protocols.
• Monitoring of video surveillance equipment, fire and alarm panels.
• Regular foot patrol of interior and exterior / completing assigned Security duties.
• To keep their allocated check post occupied at all times. They will be allowed to leave only in the following circumstances (Just after calling the police or other authorised organization is informed about the issues):
• Emergency alarm: Only selected positions will be vacated as per instructions mentioned in the emergency response procedure.
• Life-threatening risk: If there is any such hazard/risk in the location which can cause permanent harm to their lives or well-being.
• Record the visitors, contractor, events & incidents in the assigned logs.
• Do not indulge in arguments. Should escalate the matter to the Site Manager, SSHE leader and Country Security Assistant Manager.
• When in doubt, ask for clarification from the Site Manager, SSHE leader and Country Security Assistant Manager.
• To guide all the incoming vehicles & trailer drivers to manoeuvre their vehicles & maintain proper access for other vehicles/people working in the area.
• Always keep the gate manned.
• Check all the vehicles for identification of employees, visitors & contractors.
• Enforce physical (employees, visitor & contractor) access protocol.
• Keep the gate barrier closed at all times unless there are emergency conditions.
• Implement gate pass procedures.
• Update & maintain daily log books & documents.
• Body search all 3rd party contractor staff.
• Safekeeping of emergency roll call list.
• Enforce physical (employees, visitor & contractor) access protocol.
• Keep reception doors closed & interlocked during night (10 PM-6 AM).
• Operation of the fire alarm control panel.
• Be prepared for emergency response.
• Immediately inform the Site Manager, SSHE leader and Country Security Assistant Manager in case of any emergency or incident.
• Update & maintain daily log books & documents.
• Implement site safe travel policy & parking rules on all vehicles (employees, visitors or contractors).
• Coordinate delivery vehicles for safe parking and delivery.
• Ban entry of vehicles and personnel while an emergency has been declared and evacuation is in process.
• Coordinate with the projects department for safe parking of cranes & other heavy machinery.
• Ensure the compliance of the attached site physical (employees & visitors) access protocol.
• Ensure compliance with the smoking policy.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience
• Diploma degree
