Job Description
- Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting models.
- Manage month-end closing processes, including inventory valuation and cost reporting.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, including labour, materials, and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports, such as monthly dashboards, cost variance reports, and ad-hoc analyses, to support informed decision-making.
- Act as a proactive Finance Business Partner within the factory, ensuring alignment between operational and financial goals.
- Monitor and update standard costs in the ERP system to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to track and optimize costs throughout the manufacturing process.
- Provide financial guidance for special projects by analyzing cost trends to develop strategies for profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in cost accounting or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with costing modules is an advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in English (preferred).
