Job Description
1.End-to-End Automation Project Leadership
· Lead automation projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with manufacturing needs and operational goals.
·Identify opportunities to eliminate non-value-added activities in production processes through automation solutions.
2.Quality and Traceability Enhancement
·Collaborate with the Quality Team to design and execute projects that address quality risks and traceability gaps, including batching, inventory management, and process monitoring.
3.Process Automation & Optimization
·Identify opportunities to automate production processes, integrating automation, robotics, and smart sensors.
·Propose and implement solutions to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality through data-driven insights.
4.Factory Data & System Integration
· Work with existing IT/OT systems to ensure manufacturing data is captured accurately and effectively.
· Use automation tools and dashboards to monitor key production metrics, enabling better operational decisions.
5.Automation & Robotics Support
· Lead implementation of automation and robotic solutions in manufacturing workflows.
· Collaborate with mechanical/electrical and production teams to ensure smooth integration of automation/robotic systems.
6.Training & Knowledge Enablement
· Train operators and engineers on using new automation tools and automation solutions on the shop floor.
· Ensure sustainable adoption of automation solutions by creating practical guides and hands-on training programs.
7. Factory Automation Master Plan
·Own and maintain the factory automation master plan, aligning automation initiatives with long-term manufacturing strategy.
Professional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and automation/robotics integration.
- Expertise in automation solutions for production optimization, data-driven decision-making, and smart factory implementation.
- Understanding of IT/OT systems and manufacturing data analytics for process improvement.
- Experience in leading automation, digitalization, and control projects and managing change on the shop floor.
- Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and technical training abilities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related IT/Engineering field, with practical knowledge of automation, robotics, or automation manufacturing technologies
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or production engineering, preferably in high-volume or automated environments.
- Proven experience in implementing automation, smart manufacturing, or automation projects on the shop floor.
- Hands-on involvement with process improvement initiatives (WCM, TMS, lean manufacturing, Kaizen, or similar).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, engineering) to deliver manufacturing projects.
- Exposure to industrial control systems, factory IT/OT tools, or robotics systems in practical manufacturing applications.
